Designing and creating have always been an important part of my life. Over the years I have designed clothing, dolls, vintage jewelry collages, angels, macramé lamps, music boxes and many other interesting items. Several years ago, I discovered the world of wire wrapped jewelry. Combining beautiful natural stones with wire is not only challenging, but also addictive. I design jewelry with various types of wire, chains, semi-precious stones, gemstone beads and silver. Wire weaving is my favorite way to showcase unique, outstanding stones, crystals, and beads.
I am largely self-taught, learning from resources on the internet as well as forums for the talented jewelry-making community. My creative background is tapped in many ways as each piece grows organically, with no two pieces ever quite the same. Currently, I am actively designing pendants, earrings, trees of life, and beaded rosaries. Soon I will be introducing a new collection comprised of stones, beads and chains combined in each piece. In addition to custom pendants and jewelry, I’ve also created a large (5 feet by 2 feet) wall sculpture using larger stones and heavier gage wire for a client in California.
As my expertise has grown, interest and sales have followed! I sell my work directly, via private trunk shows, private events, a retail shop in California and now here at MoFACo!!! I look forward to helping you find a special piece that will make you or your loved one smile for years to come!
